The Mechanical Barrier is applied as soon as the hair is distributed in the machine, offering superior performance thanks to the illusion tulle fabric. After the first step, the hair is treated with the Chemical Barrier, while the Mechanical Barrier acts as a facilitator during the hemming process—these folds ensure better hair fixation. This fabric protects the strands, preventing them from unraveling every time the client combs her hair. That's why it's called a Mechanical Barrier—it’s a membrane that simplifies and supports the production process.

The Chemical Barrier enhances the manufacturing process at a specific stage, intensifying the effect of the Mechanical Barrier. This is a specially formulated mixture designed to improve the performance of the Mechanical Barrier and effectively help contain the hair strands. This is one of the key secrets in producing the NANOSLIM wefts.

The Elastic Barrier holds the real secret—the heart of the NANOSLIM method. It is created alongside the weft and features a mechanism that interweaves the hair strands with the Elastic Barrier, forming a mesh. This ensures no spot on the scalp is overloaded or damaged by the weight of the extensions. The Elastic Barrier is compartmentalized, giving each point its own space while still interacting with the others, creating an elastic effect.

WHO IS VANESSA RANGEL
Born in Varginha, Minas Gerais—known as the “UFO city”—our hair extension specialist has built a solid 26-year career, with 21 years dedicated to various hair extension techniques. Her passion for beauty and deep understanding of client needs led her to personally experience the frustrations and limitations of traditional methods, especially adhesive-based ones. Faced with challenges and even client loss, her determination stood out.
